Caring after a disaster: Community supporter wellbeing workshop

Have you helped your neighbourhood in times of crisis?

Join us to learn more about looking after yourself and others in your community in this free online workshop. If you are supporting others in your community after a disaster as a volunteer, through your sports club, or in a local business such as a Vet, Hairdresser, Council Worker or as a next door neighbour, this workshop is for you. This workshop draws on the New Zealand Red Cross’s experience in Leading in Disaster Recovery Resource and helps us understand how we react to stress, the impact of burnout and the importance of self care. Please join us for this workshop to support you as you care for your community.

If you have any questions or need help registering, contact the Red Cross Recovery Team at recovery@redcross.org.au
